Linda Marie
Watercolour & Mixed Media
As an artist and poet originally from Manchester, now living in Wrexham, my creative journey weaves together visual and literary expression—primarily through watercolour and poetry. Art has become a sanctuary for me: a way to embrace nature, process emotion, and find joy in self-expression.
Whilst I’ve explored various media over the years, I’ve found my voice in watercolours and mixed media. My work often combines poetic elements—both classical and original—with delicate layers of paint and texture.
Whether creating still-life pieces or mixed media artworks, I aim to capture emotion, memory, and meaning rather than simply depict a scene.
Music was my first creative outlet; I taught myself to play instruments by ear, and singing has always helped me move through life’s frustrations. Art plays a key role in my mindfulness journey, and I hope others find a sense of peace and inspiration in my work too.
My life has taken many paths—through music, finance, ecology, and teaching—all whilst raising a family. Each chapter has shaped the way I see and share the world. Living in Wales, surrounded by landscapes that hold deep personal meaning, continues to inspire and ground my work.
I create to connect, to reflect, and to share wonder. Through art and poetry, I hope to inspire others to explore their own creativity and find joy in the process of making.
Jane Evans
Photography
I am a Welsh based photographer, with over 20 years of experience who enjoys taking images of landscapes. I have a First Class Degree in photography working freelance.

Photographing landscapes for me is the art of capturing its beauty and draw the viewer in and makes them feel as though they are part of the moment. Whether they are vast panoramas or the smallest details, my intention to reflect the spirit of the location and my personal relationship to my surroundings.

I like using photography as a medium to express my creative side and I consider myself to be passionate about the environment. My calm and quiet personality allows me to capture the beauty of my surroundings which I find peaceful and relaxing. A haven from the hustle and bustle of the modern world. My aim is to reflect this in my work. I genuinely love what I do.

Eloise Hawes
Oils
Hawes’s limited colour palette is inspired by her travels to Greece, with each artwork reflecting memories from the islands of Rhodes, Kefalonia and Crete. The slower paced and relaxed culture of Greece stayed with her, inspiring her to convey that atmosphere in her work whilst inviting viewers to take a visual escape from everyday life.
Using oil pastels, Hawes embraces a childlike freedom in her mark making while her limited colour palette helps reduce pressure, allowing for more playful and uninhibited expression. Her paintings develop from personal photos and memories carrying the feelings she experienced in Greece.
Small details repeat throughout her work, like cats that quietly wander across her compositions. These cats serve as symbolism for herself and her curiosity to explore. They not only represent Greece but also a beloved pet from her childhood, a reminder to always paint with carefree joy like that of a child, as she believes that is the way to create your most authentic work.
